ENG will have difficulty beating extraordinary IND team ..says Ganguly

Former  indian cricket  captain Sourav Ganguly has said that eng will find it extremely hard to beat an outstanding  indian team on home  ground.

Speaking with media in Siliguri, West Bengal, Ganguly said: “The Native indian group is a excellent group. It is an outstanding group on its house ground.

Abroad they have not performed that well in the last few years but on the property ground, they are an outstanding group. It is challenging for any group to beat them.”

England will perform the first Check against Native indian in Ahmedabad from Nov 15. Ganguly said Native indian would have to beat Britain on house ground to avenge the four nil rout suffered in Britain this year.

“The vengeance is not finish as we were beaten on English ground. The vengeance would be finish once Britain group is beaten on its own ground, as we were beaten in 2007 and 2011. Native indian shall perform well and they are the favourites,” he said.

The former Native indian skipper further said Native indian would have to rely on rewriters for this Check series.

“The bowling should be excellent, but in Native indian there should be rewriters as the ball can swing more. Native indian has three excellent rewriters like Harbhajan, Ashwin and Pragyan Ojha,” said Ganguly.

The second Check will be performed in Mumbai from Nov 23 while the third and fourth Tests are to be held in Kolkata and Nagpur respectively.
